The Clark Cougarettes Drill Team is a dance team from Clark High School in Plano, Texas. Although Clark High School is made up of freshmen and sophomores within the Plano Independent School District, the Cougarettes is comprised of sophomores.
The Cougarettes perform at home football games for the Clark Cougars Sophomore football team, at some basketball games, competitions, and events around Plano.
The Clark Cougarettes are supported by the Rette Backers Booster Club and are under the direction of Mrs. Jessica Lowe.

Jessica Lowe Director
Mrs. Jessica Lowe is starting her first year as the Director of the Clark High School Cougarettes!! At Clark High School, Mrs. Lowe teaches drill team fundamentals. She has come to Plano from The Colony High School where she directed the Topcats Drill Team for two years and also taught Dance 1 and 2. While at TCHS, she choreographed some musical dance routines for the theater and choir department.
Jessica is a former Shepton High School Stallionette Officer and Plano West Sr. High School Drill Team Officer. As a Royale, she performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and traveled to Orlando, Florida to perform at Walt Disney World.
After high school, Jessica attended Baylor University where she was involved in numerous activities with her sorority as well as the dance pom squad known as the Baylor Songleaders. She got to perform at Big XII Football and Basketball games cheering and dancing on her Baylor Bears! She graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Secondary Education.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband Matthew, and their two cats Prince Charming and Belle.
Laylee Emadi Assistant Director
Ms. Laylee Emadi is so excited to be the new Clark Cougarettes Assistant Director! Laylee will be teaching the Dance 1 and 2 classes at Clark High School this year. She is joining Clark after teaching English at Shepton last school year.
Laylee has been dancing most her life, and is a former Jasper Jazz Drill Team member. After high school Laylee attended The University of Texas at Dallas where she became extremely involved on campus, and continued dancing both on the school's dance pom squad (the Power Dancers) as well as the modern dance company (the UTDance Ensemble). She had the honor of serving as UTD's Homecoming Queen and was happy to hold offices in several different organizations throughout campus, mostly working with incoming freshmen in a mentor role.
After graduating in 2007 with a degree in Communications, Laylee has enjoyed continuing to dance, having had the opportunity to continue studying dance while living in London and taking classes in New York and the Dallas area.
Laylee is dedicated to making this year a great one for all her students and for the Cougarettes! With any free time she has this year she will be happily planning her wedding, and trying to relax!
